My personal bio can really only start one way and that’s with Indiana Basketball. Priorities people. Sad (or awesome) as it may be, there is little in my life that I care about as much as Indiana Basketball. I’m fanatical. Yes, I have just recently moved to Atlanta and couldn’t be more excited about my new life here, but make no mistake, I am a Hoosier. I was born and raised in Indiana and IU Basketball has been in my blood since birth. Some have suggested that now that I am in SEC country, my IU and Big Ten alliances will fade a bit. That’s. Adorable. Let’s just move on.
I am a huge Indianapolis Colts fan. I believe Peyton Manning is the greatest Quarterback to ever play the game. And I am right.
I’m in the appropriate town, because I’m an Atlanta Braves fan as well. (Indy doesn’t have an MLB squad…growing up it was either the Cubs on WGN or the Braves on TBS…I loved Ron Gant’s hightop spikes…the rest is history).
I am very passionate about music. I love The Beatles, Radiohead, The National, Modest Mouse, Sufjan Stevens, and a whole bunch of other bands that are way better than the bands you like (Oh yeah, I should mention I’ve been called a music snob in the past. I don’t see it, but whatever).
You will find me spending all my extra time and money on the golf course. I would love to be able to play every single day of my life, and I am working towards being able to do just that.
Truly loyal friends are hard to come by…unless you’re me. I have a core group of friends who have “been there” through thick and thin and they mean the world to me. We’ve been known to occasionally infiltrate and dominate entire regions of our fine country at a time. Family is really important to me, and I come from a great one. I am the youngest of four, and I am an uncle to two nephews and five nieces. No wife, kids, or white picket fence for me just yet…but I’m working on it.
