Bridget Snapp brings the precision of an attorney (Georgetown Law ’06) and the heart of an artist (professional film editor) to the Brain Bytes Creative team. After graduating law school and passing the Georgia bar, she switched gears entirely and entered the entertainment business. She started as an on-air TV legal correspondent for Georgia Public Broadcasting, where she developed a passion for editing and production work. Since that time, she has edited two independent feature films (“My Sixteenth Summer” – Winner Method Fest ’10 and “Quarterlife Ben” – currently on the independent film circuit), written, edited and produced a documentary that has garnered national press attention (Haleyville: Unsolved Mysteries & Murder), hosted, produced and edited a number of television and webTV shows (including 411 ‘The Show’ on the CW Atlanta), hosted and produced two seasons of the Golf FORE Georgia radio show on 1160 AM-WCFO, and has produced and edited a variety of features, shorts, documentaries, and corporate films for a local production company.
In the summer of 2011, some of her best friends, Jason and Courtney Sirotin were looking for help running their very successful web business. Drawn to the creative aspects of web design, as well as the precision of code and wording, she jumped at the opportunity to do something she loved alongside people that she admired and respected. Together, they formed “Brain Bytes Creative” and, as Project Manager, she has been building awesome websites with her friends ever since. Bridget has a BA in Romance Languages (Spanish & Italian) and a BA in Criminal Justice from the University of Georgia as well as a JD from Georgetown University Law Center.
The perfect end to any day is on the couch watching bad reality TV with my fiancé (thank you Andy Cohen). Of course, this rarely seems to happen for me as I am a self-proclaimed work-a-holic with an avid food and wine (consumption) career. I seem to be forever busy between work and social plans but I also go crazy when there’s not a lot to do. I love to travel and usually end up out of town about once a month. I love foreign travel – and keep a very detailed List of all the cities I’ve visited (my friends have never found my Lists as entertaining as I do, but I’d be glad to share them with you if you’re interested). Despite the efforts of many, I haven’t updated my musical taste since the 80s – I don’t see a need.
Anyone who knows me knows my in depth love of wine and, well, really any great cocktail. I love to read, though mostly only cheesy girl novels (think Bridget Jones and anything by Emily Griffin). I’m not very athletic but did bowl a perfect game in college. I do exercise and meditate to stay sane – some weeks much more often than others. I adore (good) live theater. Speaking of which, I spent nearly an entire year in Manhattan watching off Broadway shows and street walking (walking the streets for fun, not work. Didn’t do much work of any kind that year).
I now live in Buckhead with my husband and look forward to having big, fat babies together one day, just like my precious niece who I’m pretty sure was born to the wrong twin.
