The Get It Straight Podcast:

Dr. Coreil & Dr. Warford

Here is yet another episode of the Get It Straight Podcast.

As Jay opens with, “we examine the hottest topics” in the space. Serving as co-host is the esteemed Judd Johns.

Today, we’re speaking with Dr. Coreil of Coreil Orthodontics. The practice operates out of Lafayette, Louisiana. As their site notes, they “serve patients from all over Acadiana… From Ville Platte and Carencro, to Youngsville and Broussard.”

We also have the pleasure of once again being joined by Dr. Warford of Warford Orthodontics. Dr. Warford provides his unique, credentialed perspective, per usual. The topic of discussion is a popular one: the distinction between applying aligners and braces. Read on to learn more!

Speaking With The Top Dogs Of Orthodontics

First, we must brag on Dr. Coreil’s massive resume and credentials. He’s a “graduate of LSU Ortho School, [a] current instructor at LSU, key opinion leader, and clinical expert for OrthoCo Orthodontics.” Dr. Coreil is a bit of a rockstar in the space, with countless cases to his credit.

Today’s meeting of mind yields a ton of great information for those interested in the field. The big question tackled here is: brackets or aligners, which should I pick! In truth, it’s a matter of preference, and each party makes an amazing case for their chosen path.

Getting On GIS

As Judd notes, the main takeaway from today’s talk is that “there’s a lot of wonderful orthodontists out there.” Each has their own unique take on running a practice and all of the nuance therein. And if these gentlemen’s experiences prove anything, it’s that there’s a litany of viable directions that orthodontics provides its participants.
