As always, our goal is to highlight the best and brightest in the field of orthodontics. Today, we’ll be talking with the good people from over at Black Orthodontics. Joining the conversation is team member Heather Blalock, along with Dr. Black himself!
Their practice is located in Asheville, North Carolina, and they’ve served the community with stronger smiles for quite a while. Dr. Black alone has been in the field for over three decades, and his experience shows in his top level treatment of clients. Read on to learn more!
“No disrespect to a,l my good dentist buddies, but I knew I wasn’t going to end up being a dentist.” It was between braces, and becoming an all out dental surgeon.
The key factor in his decision making was the overall time commitment of the latter. He reasoned that such a path would be too demanding, taking away from much needed, quality family time. The orthodontic field offered the perfect opportunity for both flexibility and a livable wage.
This wonderful practice is yet another example of just how favorable a career in the field is for those with the passion and skillset. It’s a grind, no doubt, but by all accounts, it’s more than worth it.
